There is so much more to Mikki Auld Hairdressing than the passion we have for our craft. We are a representation of the places we’ve been, the people we’ve met along the way and the inspirations that have shaped and essentially created us. Our journal is a curation of all these things and more. This is a place that houses a collection of our favourite things; sustainable design, wellbeing, film and art. Here you will find interviews with local and like-minded creatives, beauty and trend forecasters as well as self-love edits and the occasional how to guide. If you think we have a little more than a bit in common and would like to feature on our journal please get in touch, we would love to chat.

Voted Brisbane's Best Hairdressers 2018: Style Magazine

We've been named one of Brisbane's best hairdressers for 2018 by Style Magazine, take a look at what they had to say about us!

When it comes to beautifully coloured locks and effortlessly cool styles, Brisbane hairdresser Mikki Auld is a cut above the rest. With 10 years of hairdressing experience working alongside some of the best in the Australian and international industries, the talented colourist and stylist has worked abroad in London and brings a wealth of knowledge to her new sun-lit salon in the heart of Woolloongabba.

Mikki was recently part of the award-winning team at Edwards and Co and has just come off the back of a whirlwind experience in Sydney as one of the four finalists for the Australian F.A.M.E Team: an esteemed academy for merit and excellence which discovers the hairdressing industry’s up and comers.

Specialising in freehand, balayage and colour corrections, Mikki and her team are passionate about treating their client’s hair with the utmost care and respect. They strive to take a sustainable, organic and cruelty-free approach to hairdressing by using boutique products such as Mr Smith. Mikki and her team proudly tailor each appointment to you, meaning you never feel overlooked or your foils over-cooked. After one visit, you’ll understand the difference a hairdresser that tailors the appointment to suit you, your individuality and your lifestyle can make.
